Wave File Information for Audio Demonstrations

All audio files except "Speech Envelope" demonstration are 16 bit, mono or stereo files, sampled at 11,025 Hz. The speech envelope was sampled at 22,050 Hz. The files should be playable on any system with audio/multi-media capability (e.g., with a soundcard) and software capibility for *.wav files. You might have to set your browser to provide the proper "Helper" for playing *.wav files (e.g., in Netscape 2.02 look under "Options" and "General Procedures").

The demonstration for Binaural Interference and Huggins pitch are stereo files which require the use of headphones to hear the effects. The Franssen and Clifton demonstrations are also stereo files and they require two loudspeakers (e.g., the effects do not work with headphones). All other files are mono files and either headphones or loudspeakers can be used.
