Organization

A research institute of the Graduate School involved with the comparative study of hearing and related senses. Comparative in that the faculty and students use different animal models (fish, rats, chinchilla, humans), different techniques (anatomical, physiological, behavioral, ethological, and mathematical), and different sensory systems (hearing, vestibular, lateral-line, electroreception, vision, and speech perception).
