This site contains a tutorial on hearing. It is designed to compliment the textbook,
Fundamentals of Hearing: An Introduction and Fundamentals of Hearing: A Workbook. The
tutorial contains sixteen sections or chapters corresponding to the sixteen chapters in
the textbook. There are also links (updated four times per year) to other sites that
provide educational material related to hearing. Each chapter contains information and
demonstrations related to sound, auditory anatomy and physiology, and auditory perception.
A sound card is required to make maximal use of this web site. Additional details are
provided in each chapter.
